I am having a wonderful time at my quilt retreat and am getting a lot of piecing done. Quilters are a lot of fun and we laugh and talk a lot. Our group has many talented teachers and I got a chance to try paper piecing again today. This afternoon I made a cute tiny paper pieced candle in a holder while at my friend Sue’s class. I plan to make this tiny block into a card when I get home. This card will have to go to someone special because it took quite a while for me to make.
I am working on a twin quilt for my youngest grand daughter. I will plan to post a picture when it is done. I am thinking of trying quilt as you go which I have never done but I think that this is a good way to go as it takes part of the pushing around a heavy quilt away which has got to be easier on my poor back! I am enjoying quilting again which I have not done much of lately. I have been much more into making cards.
Tomorrow I may take a little break from quilting and make a little paper project to share with you!
