How are you doing today? I hope you are doing great! I could not wait to share my other Halloween Challenge card so here I am again today!
This card challenge is from Freshly Made Sketches. I like the simplicity of the sketch. This sketch leaves much for the imagination to fill in!
I could not wait to use the Trick or Tweet (wood 147725/ clear 147722) Stamp set again! The stamps are so cute and I want to use them all! I decided to go with squares for the central motif frame. I used my Big Shot (143263) and my Stitched Shaped Framelits (145372) to cut a 2 1/8″ square of Whisper White (100730) to stamp the cute little elephant on.
I cut two 2 5/8″ squares using my Stitched Shape Framelits (145372). One square of which is of Calypso Coral (122925) and one of Basic Black (121045). I layered the three squares as pictured and taped them together with Snail Adhesive (104332).
I cut a rectangle 2″ X 4″ of Calypso Coral (122925). I wrapped Black Baker’s Twine (141682) three times around the top portion of this rectangle. I used Snail Adhesive (104332) to secure the twine to the back of the rectangle. I cut two lengths of twine and made a double bow on the left side of the card. I taped the rectangle toward the bottom of the card. I used a small strip of Whisper White (100730) to stamp the sentiment “Party Animal” and then cut the strip so there were points on the ends. I attached the strip to the Calypso Coral rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).
I attached the layered squares above the Calypso Coral rectangle with the point of the black square lined up with the right side of the card and overlaps the Calypso Coral rectangle.
Isn’t that elephant cute! Easy and fast card using simple shapes! I hope you like this card. I am pretty happy with it. If you have any questions or anything I can help you with please let me know!
Have an awesome evening!
