Hi Friends,

I am glad you have decided to join me at my blog today. My schedule has changed and my Saturday Sampler will take place at my place on September 29th 10am to 2pm. Space is limited so call to reserve your spot today at 616-490-1731. I hope that works for you all! I have a quilt retreat weekend scheduled on the weekend of September 22nd. Hopefully I will get some quilts done that weekend!

I have a great card for you! I think it would be awesome as an encouragement card or just to send a note to a friend to say Hello! I know someone would appreciate your thoughtfulness!

My color combination for my card was Lovely Lipstick (ink 147140/ card stock 146970), Call Me Clover (ink 147139/ card stock 146969), Pineapple Punch (ink 147141/ card stock 146971), Poppy Parade (ink 147050/ card stock 119793), Bermuda Bay (ink 147096/ card stock 131197), Pumpkin Pie (ink 147086/ card stock 105117), and Daffodil Delight (ink 147094/ card stock 119683).

I started with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ card base of Lovely Lipstick (146970). I cut a 4 X 5 1/4″ mat of Call Me Clover card stock (146969) and a 3 3/4″ X 5″ piece of Whisper White card stock (100730) for on top. On scrap pieces of Whisper White card stock (100730), I stamped all the different flowers and the butterfly from the Pop of Petals stamp set (wood 146646/ clear 146649) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink (132708).

Then I had a blast coloring them all in with various colors of Stampin’ Blends including: Bermuda Bay Light (144580) and Dark (144579), Call Me Clover light (147023) and Dark (147024), Calypso Coral light (144042) and Dark (144044), Cherry Cobbler light (144576) and Dark (144575), Daffodil Delight light (144586) and Dark (144585), Lovely Lipstick Light (147026) and Dark (147028), Pineapple Punch Light (147029) and Dark (147030), Poppy Parade light (146878) and Dark (146879), Pumpkin Pie Light (144578) and Dark (144577), and Rich razzleberry light (144584) and Dark (144583),

I used the coordinating Four Petal Flower punch (147041) to punch out all the flowers and the butterfly. Right now the Pop of Petals (wood 146646/ clear 146649and the Four Petal Flower punch (147041) come in a bundle (wood 148384/ clear 148385). so if you order both you can get 10% off the cost!

Then I layered the Call me Clover (146969) and Whisper White (100730) on to the Lovely Lipstick (146970) base as pictured with Snail Adhesive (104332). I spread out and taped three of flowers directly to the Whisper White (100730layer with Snail Adhesive (104332). The other two Flowers are attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).

I stamped the butterfly on to the Whisper White (100730) layer with Pumpkin Pie ink (147086) and attached the colored butterfly over top so the antennae would show behind the butterfly. I used the Bella and Friends stamp set (wood 141867/ clear 141870) for the sentiment which I stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink (147140).

There, doesn’t that sound fun and easy! If you make this card please post a comment with a picture. I would love to see it.

Have an awesome day and Happy Stamping,

LuAnn

A Few Reminders

My shop is available 24/7 online here!

Another reminder: If you hostess a workshop during the month of September, you can get a free pack of Christmas paper. Hostess a workshop in your home, by catalog or even online. If you are interested check out this link for more information on hostess benefits and give me a call at 616-490-1731 today to set up a date!

Are you in the West Michigan area? Are you interested in joining a Stamp Club? My plan is to have the Stamp Club meet once a month on the first Friday of the month from 1-4pm. At this meeting members would learn new techniques and make at least 3 cards or 3D projects.

All 6 members would commit to a 6 month period. Each person would agree to order at least $25 of products each month. Every month one member would be the hostess and would get these hostess benefits. Which would be at least $15 worth of free products. The amount of free products you would earn depends on how much the club members order.

Would this interest you? Do you have any Stamping friends that might join us? Call 616-490-1731 or email me today
