As Fathers Day approaches, thoughts of my dad unsurprisingly come to the surface. This July my dad will have been gone for 4 years. He was a hardworking man who was good with his hands. He was an electrician. He loved to point out places where he did various jobs both industrial and in homes. Whether it was a lighting job in a restaurant or a pool he wired, he took great pride in his work. Even after he retired he always busy. He loved wood working and fly fishing but he especially loved collecting the tools.
I like to think I take after dad. I am a hard worker and take great pride in my work (to the point of perfectionism). I have never tried wood working but in the various crafts I have tried i have always loved collecting the tools!
Stamping is no exception! Before becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I collected older retired stamp sets. I would feel frustrated when I bought a duplicate set.
When I became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, i knew I had to find a way to organize my stamps and keep track of which products wete retired and which were current. After trying other unhelpful methods, I heard about an online site called, ‘These are my stamps’ at www.thesearemystamps.com
It has a free basic service and a PRO service that has many helpful features. I recommend you try this out!
