Hi Friends,

How are you this evening! I have a great card for you today. I made the card for the challenge by Freshly Made Sketches #354. I just got my Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (147906) in my last order and decided I would use it for this very simple card. The embossing from this folder is awesome looking all by itself! I can think of so many things to do with this embossing folder. I can’t wait to experiment some more!

My card base is 4 1/4″ X 11″ Whisper White card stock (100730). I cut a 4″ X 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock. I embossed this piece of card stock with my Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (147906) after spritzing the paper with water with my Stampin’ Spritzer (126185). Spritzing with water makes the embossed image more pronounced. I let the damp paper dry completely before attaching it to the card base with Snail Adhesive (104332).

I cut thin strips of Bermuda Bay (131197),  Mint Macaron (138337), and Granny Apple Green ( 146990) card stock. I attached these in parallel lines on the left side of the card- spacing them so the flower design of the embossed image shows clearly.

My sentiment “Thinking of You” is from the Colorful Seasons (143726) stamp set. I stamped my sentiment with Bermuda Bay ink (147096) on Whisper White card stock (100730) and punched the sentiment out using the Classic Label Punch (141491). I attached the sentiment using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108).

I kept this card simple and clean! I like the progression of the blue green strip to the yellow green strip and the increasing width of the strips. I think this card could be used for anyone who needs to hear that they are on your mind! Pretty simple card today! But don’t you just love the new embossing folder!

Have an awesome day and Happy Stampin’,

LuAnn

My hope is that each of you will give the gift of a hand made snail mailed card to a family member, friend or just someone who needs a lift. What a joy to receive something other than bills and junk mail in your mailbox!
